My Best friend Mary's Bag

I am so happy that I had an afternoon to sew. I was feeling that I wanted to make a quilted/applique type bag, for my friend Mary. I got this idea from sew mama sew blogs scrap buster tutorial for a fall pillowcase. I used heat and bond for the first time today, it went fairly well.


She prefers a longer shoulder strap bag

The lining is batik. Her birthday is not until the 16th, but I don't think I can wait.
